The forms below will allow you to book a consultation quickly.

Consultations last around an hour.  During that time, we listen to your story, gather the pertinent details about your situation, tell you what law applies, list all your legal options and tell you what you need to do next.  Most of our clients find the consultations are packed with information and so it is best to arrange a consultation for a time when you will be able to concentrate.

John and his team are available to give legal advice on Family Law, Education and Children’s Rights issues.  We usually have a lawyer with availability within a couple of days to discuss issues ranging from simple to extremely complex and difficult.   During COVID19, we are avoiding in person meetings, but are setting up consultations by phone, Skype or Zoom.

Our consultations are not free.  John charges a reduced rate of $525.00 for consultations.  Other lawyers charge between $285 and $500 for consultations.  These prices do not include HST.  However, our clients find that there money is well spent and their questions are answered during the consult.  Our consults are not “meet and greets” but are designed to give people all the legal information they need immediately.

We must get some information to book consultations. We are required to collect the information to ensure we do not have any conflicts of interest and to fulfill laws related to anti-terrorism and money-laundering.  We also must collect 2 pieces of identification from each potential client. These legal requirements mean, we cannot “just answer a few quick questions” over the phone.  We also collect some basic information that helps us plan the consult so that we can focus the consult on getting you the information you need.  We DO NOT share this information with anyone.

Once we receive and review your form, we will be in touch promptly to arrange to get copies of your ID, determine whether you have any additional documents or information that we need, and to discuss payment.
